Go the ‘Crow Eaters’. Proud of you.

  2. I live in Adelaide and haven’t heard anything about this. Go Pink News for telling me from another hemisphere what my own state is doing!

Good on you South Australia. Great news.

I’m sure after your elections your great country will be up there standing with New Zealand with Marriage Equality.

It will take some time but it will happen.

  4. At least ONE state in that country is not full of bigots. If Im ever in Australia, I will visit Adelaide but I will stay well away from Queensland and Tasmania

    1. No- Tasmania is now the most gay friendly state in Aus – as well as being remarkably beautiful. My partner and I go there every year for holidays. Queensland, on the other hand ….

    2. I go to Far North Queensland and Brisbane twice a year. It’s not homophobic, people couldn’t care less anymore (in my experience anyway and I’m not exactly discreet). Just a few bigot politicians from QLD.

    3. Oh, and just so you know, I live in Adelaide. Seriously stick to Tasmania for scenery!! :)

  5. Well may they support New Zealand, but let’s see if they actually bring in a gay marriage bill. South Australia was the first State in Aus to decriminalise gay sex, so come one – be the first to legalise gay marriage!
