    Even though this is weak as a statement its better than nothing. However, I’m glad to be in the EU rather than the Russian federation.

  3. Russia is run by thugs and religious nutters that are completely corrupt.

  4. This action from the European Parliament provides us with a good reason for remaining in the European Union.

    There are other good reasons too, as well as reasons why we ought NOT to be members. But on balance I think the homosexual community in the UK is safer with us IN the EU than out.

  5. Europeans are all bark and no bite. Russia is booming economically, while Western Europe is bankrupt. Russia calls the shots and there is nothing Western Europe can do about it.

    I’m perplexed as to why everyone is so surprised. I hadn’t felt that Russia had ever thrown off the habits of the USSR. It is still a totalitarian government, regardless of how they try to present themselves.
