  1. As a female who on occasion has confronted aggressive male cross dressers in toilets at lesbian bars I am horrified that the USA seems to value these homophobes more than the L&G

    1. and I am saddened to see such a transphobic comment. Whilst it is true that some trans people are homophobic (just as some LGB people are transphobic) – they are in the minority and most of us value the alliance between LGB and T communities.

      oh go away

      really, just goaway.

how many gender varient people have i known who are scared to go to take a p1ss on their own because they have had violent gender phobic people confront them in the toilate?

    3. Channeling Janice Raymond a little too much today, are we?

    4. Except the USA, as a whole, discriminates MORE against trans* people. I haven’t seen tell of a proposed law barring LGB individuals from anything other than marriage, and that is being cleared up as we speak. There are far more trans* people (or those thought to be) being murdered than cisgender LGB individuals. You also seem to forget that many trans* people can be lesbian, gay, or bisexual as much as cisgender people, and we had to go through quite a bit of social dogma within the scientific community to even be allowed to transition. I’m sorry you’ve come upon jackasses, but we deal with a lot more than cranky drag queens.
