    He’s probably right, but that’s a problem in Europe as a whole, not just in the UK. Look at Russia as another example.

    That’s an easy one. Here in the states “soccer” has always been seen as more of an alternative crowd sport, not one of our more “macho” testosterone filled ones like the big 3. So the teams and crowds who watch will reflect that.

    Our American football or basketball crowds more honestly reflect your football fans. (With less alcohol. Usually.)

  3. It is interesting that the writer of this story left out Robbie Rogers comment that the UK is also a very RACIST country as well as homophobic. Interesting that a gay website ignores the issue of racism how convenient.
