What happens after the 2nd reading House of Lords vote? If affirmative, does that usher in marriage equality? (Excuse my ignorance, I’m from Texas.)

    1. I too wish to know this. And I’m from England. Politics is confusing.

    2. There are still a number of stages in the legislative process after that. However, if the second reading vote is affirmative that will be a strong indication that the House of Lords is broadly in favour and that the bill will eventually become law.
