That’s a more sincere apology than I’ve heard from most people. Hopefully he has learned from this and will reflect on it for future consideration. Peace!

Well I can see his point about the media, when I think of the Lucy Meadows thing over here.

Is this “no homo” thing something that gets used in the US in an abusive way? I’m guessing its contextual / cultural because I’m struggling to see how that is anything other than someone finding humour in an unintended innuendo.

Do his PR advisers really think this insincere and patronising line “What’s with this ” not a reflection of my personal views ” magically waves any problem away? I’d personally far rather the guy said something honest like “I have a really immature sense of humour and didn’t think about other peoples feelings before I spoke, sorry everyone”.

    1. “No Homo” is inherently homophobic. Period. Just like “that’s so gay”.

Oh ok. So in practice they’re generating the set up for their own joke, but its always so they can have a dig at gays with it. Gotcha.

  3. so, he is only apologising because his remarks might have offended some. how about acknowledging that homophobic language is wrong full stop

    1. Hey sorry Kane. Scrolling the comments on my mobile and accidentally reported you.

  4. I didn’t hear any malice in that voice, people are too damn sensitive.
