    I have never heard a French person refer to Montpellier as the gay San Francisco but the city is very gay friendly and there are lots of technology companies.

    Perhaps modern industry and the modernity and gay friendliness attract themselves to each other.

  2. How fantastic that this gay couple are willing to allow their marriage, the first ever same-sex marriage in France, to be totally open to the press, so that all can see it!
