And finally, the christian lunatic reveals his insanity.

Why isn’t this man in custody or a hospital for the insane.

He is by definition a religious terrorist.

    1. Midnighter 24 May 2013, 6:58pm

Finally? I have no arguments with your conclusions but really the man has been ranting drivel like this from his closet for years.

      1. Beelzeebub 24 May 2013, 7:09pm

His extremism and utter lack of that vile faith he calls christianity has never went this far.

His hate is now complete.. Drown gay people.

        Too me that is insanity.

        1. Midnighter 24 May 2013, 7:55pm

Oh fair enough, I probably just tune out the routine drivel. If only it was actionable as hate speech or similar. I hope some of the parents of scouts are as horrified by his comment and bring him to book for it!

On your point of sanity, I was just reading up on the criteria for being classed as a psychopath. Interesting reading, from wikipedia, the checklist for a diagnosis:

      Facet 1: Interpersonal
      Glibness/superficial charm
      Grandiose sense of self-worth
      Pathological lying
      Cunning/manipulative

      Facet 2: Affective
      Lack of remorse or guilt
      Emotionally shallow
      Callous/lack of empathy
Failure to accept responsibility for own actions

There are additional facets, but these first two are quite easy to consider based on a person’s public behaviour.

  2. Can he try first?

  3. How very interesting.

  4. I’m sure there must be a volunteer to tie the millstone around his neck some where.

  5. GingerlyColors 24 May 2013, 7:17pm

    A song for Bryan Fischer:
Chop his gingan goolie goolies off!
Chop them off, chop them off!
Chop his gingan goolie goolies off!
Chop them off, chop them off!

  6. That There Other David 24 May 2013, 7:41pm

Do his listeners actually realise just how insane this man is, or are they so similarly afflicted they are blind to it?

    1. It follows a pathological pattern – religion as a cogntitive impairment, transmitted by generational brainwashing. These noisy few sustain the many by validating them. In extreme cases we see such individuals who show psychopathic tendencies.

    2. Tom Chicago 26 May 2013, 11:18pm

This is the awful, impotent rage of the sore loser.

  7. Mumbo Jumbo 24 May 2013, 7:53pm

“….A homosexual does not belong in the same tent with young boys any more than a man belongs in a tent full of Girl Scouts….”

So, basically, every man, gay or straight, is a paedophile?

    1. Midnighter 24 May 2013, 7:59pm

Quite. And not forgetting the corollary implied in his example, “no young boys are homosexuals”, which is equally fallacious since that would lead to the logical impossibility of a gay boy not being able to be in a tent with himself.

However, this is to expect basic logic from someone who is clearly mentally deficient.

  8. I guess all women who have been “den mothers” molested the boys also.

    1. And yet the BSA dismiss all the lesbian den mothers like Jennifer Tyrell. No logic!

  9. Well you might be in luck Bryan when bob-a-job week comes around. I dunno though, do the Scouts actually have a ‘drowning homophobes’ badge?

  10. johnny33308 24 May 2013, 9:54pm

Let him have his wish, for himself….now, where has that stone got to?
And he is most certainly a religious terrorist, like the other religious terrorists and they will reap what they sow….one simply cannot avoid one’s Karma (cause and effect).

  11. Are you volunteering, Bryan?

  12. So much too say but where to begin…you know what..I just can’t be bothered.

  13. jordanriversk 24 May 2013, 10:41pm

What the heck ?? This IS supposed to be a CHRISTIAN??? Far from it in my books !! But then I guess I too am judging him because he is judging others. What I would like to know is , Mr.Fischer , are you comfortable with your own sexuality?? Have you been all your life?? This judgement looks to me like you have issues in life. Many of them . And this is an analysis of him , not judgement.

    1. The answer to his sexuality is in my view that he’s closeted. Not least because recent history shows us numerous similar people who have been outed, but also because rather than answering “no” he got very evasive and defensive when asked a simple yes or no type question about whether he’d had a gay feeling.

      http://www.pinknews.co.uk/2013/05/09/us-bryan-fischer-refuses-to-answer-whether-or-not-he-has-ever-had-a-gay-impulse/

  14. Well to correct a persisten error in Pink News, there is no ‘local option’ to the new policy, all gay youth are permitted to be members. Curiously he seems to be referring to gay adults, who are still NOT allowed, so it’s puzzling, But if feels putting a millstone around his neck is what god wants, he better do it.

  15. PeterinSydney 24 May 2013, 11:35pm

Does this fellow have any idea how stupid he sounds!

    1. Mentally ill people never do. That’s why they can scream “Harrison Ford is irradiating our testicles with microwave satelite transmissions!!” while wrapped in a strait jacket without guilty of sounding ridiculous.

  16. He’s a hair’s breadth away from encouraging a final-solution.

  17. Great. As I always say keep sending bigots like these, our cause is already won with them.

  18. Just toss him into the lion cage. Too bad the romans ran out of lions before they ran out of xtians.

CAts dont know any better. People should.

    1. Martyring Christians is what gave the movement its momentum. Aside from a plenitude of lions, the best defence is for society to suport the rights of non-Christians by denying Christians the self-appointed right to impose their views on others. Freedom of speech and belief should always be considered in terms of “freedom not to hear” and “freedom not to believe”.

  19. I forgot that one of the 10 commandments was: Thou shalt not kill, except little defenseless children who’s crime is being able to love…

Christians who voice their opinion on the topic of gays, are 9/10 very hypocritical i find…

  20. He thinks more about gay sex than I do.

  21. When is this man going to croak?

  22. Christopher Coleman 25 May 2013, 4:32pm

I expect that Fischer, like many a Bible quoting Christian, wouldn’t know a millstone if he saw one, let alone understand the quotations and their contexts.

  23. MerlynHerne 25 May 2013, 4:33pm

Someone should have drowned Bryan Fischer at birth.

  24. Don’t paint all Christians with the same brush you paint this nutjob. I don’t paint all gay people the same…

    1. Midnighter 25 May 2013, 8:42pm

Nutjobs are not the exclusive preserve of organised religion, but the issue with organised religion is that it generally gives them peer support.

We need more moderate and intelligent Muslims and Christians to speak up against these types of people and to exclude them from their ranks. It does happen, but often or loudly enough in my view.

One of the best examples of such a thing recently was seen when St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in Maryland executed a brilliant counter-protest of the WBC to allow the first gay marriages to occur unmolested.

      http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/01/02/westboro-baptist-church-maryland-gay-marriage-protest-annapolis_n_2397272.html

A very meaningful and significant gesture at many levels.

  25. Tom (Winnipeg) 25 May 2013, 6:14pm

I think that forced drowning should be applied to this ignorant bum. He is a nightmare of ignorance.

  26. Like I said before, I am overwhelmed by all that Christian love !!

  27. Can we do it to him and we we throw him in, smear him in blood and let the water be shark infested?

  28. Not sure how he feels he can claim to be a Christian when he exhibits such behaviour. Sadly Christianity is one of many religions that are being perverted by some members to fit in with their personal prejudices. Exclusion and hatred are dangerous and ugly.
