  1. I don’t think the BSA is voting whether to allow gay members…surely they must realise gay members have been there all along…what they are voting for is to allow gay members to be honest and not have to lie. I thought lying was against the Christian Code…

    1. A good point, but one that surely escapes the BSA leadership since they are assuming the same of their adult leaders by not even offering their members the option of voting on that aspect.

      This is nothing short of a grudging tactical retreat on an issue where they are beseiged and losing funding and membership.

  2. While this is a good move in principle, the problem is that they must only consider lifting the entire ban on both gay members and the volunteer staff.

    Only then would it signal that it is open to all.
