    Good luck with that! Russia will thumb its nose. The Council should just boot Russia out and any others in violation of the principles.

    1. Russia is too powerful and connect to every country in Europe. Even the UK would dare not whisper against Russia, and Putin knows how powerful he actually is.

    It’s a bit rich that Patriarch Kirill, states that homosexuality is a “sin before God.” This is from an organisation that colluded with a communist Government for many years and which is often seen as an arm of the state.

  4. People should be asking these backwards nations what it is about homosexuality that so disturbs them. WHY does no-one ever ask that? WHY do we just accept that some people are homophobic without questioning their reasons? Personally, I’ve always found that the more homophobic someone is, the more likely it is they are gay and in the closet and fighting their inner self-hatred.
