  1. Amongst the human population as a whole, there are some that really are angels that live in human form. Who is mere mortal man to dictate who and where they are? Only God knows them.

    Hebrews 13:2 KJV
    King James Version
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares .

  2. When I say mortal man, I refer to those religious men of the cloth.

There aren’t supposed to be anti-gay hate crimes taking place almost in the shadow of the Stonewall Inn.

    Interesting.
I wonder how far those walls can reach to protect us all.

He won’t be the last, nonetheless he is in our hearts.

Curious. In the thread on Bret Easton you criticise people who

” get up in arms when another gay guy is beaten … The train of thoughtlessness goes on, ChooChooChoo”

Do you still feel that all these folk expressing their support are “caught up in groupthink” and incapable of independent thought as you seem to believe?

  4. We have taken it for granted these last years thinking that everywhere is acceptable of gay people…unfortunately not….. we need to be so aware when we go out…there are so many crazy people out there that will kill for nothing…RIP …

Very well said John – we should never take our freedoms for granted; whatever rights society affords us may always be taken away again, especially since there are highly motivated and organised groups who work against us.

I think we have to be aware that emotions are running high while the tide of popular opinion seems to be turning in favour of our community and its civil rights. Those who are opposed to this are generally not numbered among the worlds greatest thinkers to start with, and are going to be increasingly frustrated and act out in despicable ways.
