  2. I worked (peripherally) with Parsons back in the 1980s. I’m not a fan of his, but he’s an exceptionally sharp, intelligent and capable operator in the media and this can only be a good step forward for Gaydar.
    Parsons is absolutely nobody’s fool.
    That said, I still think he should ask for a refund on his social skills course, because it clearly didn’t work. Or perhaps he and I just didn’t get along.
    Either way, he has the potential to be the right man to make Gaydar work again.

  3. Sure hope he didn’t pay much for it. Dated concept that’s had its day and mostly irrelevant in the LGBT community.
    Be interesting to see what Parsons can make of it.
    But an uphill struggle with the name alone never mind the cock shots and rent.
    Lots of ‘white-board’ focus groups, particularly with the under 30s, might be a reality check before they spend anymore cash.
