Italian MP’s seem determined to have a right or access to payments for their partners that cannot be claimed by other Italians in society. Just like legislators around the world. This development would have to be a little more widespread before I welcomed the change.

  2. Nice to see that Italian MP’s are looking out for each other, while giving the middle finger to the rest of Italy’s LGBT community.

What have Italian MP’s done to deserve such special treatment?

    1. Baby steps.
Italy is still infected with a severe case of Vatican.

  3. The tragic thing is that Italy is so backward when it comes to LGBT equality that this can be regarded as progress.

Now the MP’s should extend the same benefits to all Italians.

  5. Fools don’t even realise this will be a huge incentive for gay people to get into politics and subsequently “take over”. I predict a predominantly homosexual government in 10-/15 years
