Say no to future bail outs for Italy without a committment to marriage equality

    1. I agree with that, but I want to point out two things. First: Italy has never been “bailed out.” Second: Most countries in the EU don’t have marriage equality, so that would be a little bit hypocritical.

Future bailouts are by their nature in the future. “Just say no!” to future bailouts unless there is equality. Just because most of Europe doesn’t have marriage equality is not a reason not to connect a future bailout for Italy to equality.

        1. So Germany (that does’t have marriage equality) shouldn’t bail out Italy on the basis that Italy does not have marriage equality?
          Sorry for my English.

            Your English is fine.

Italy remains a vassal state of The Vatican. Until Italy breaks free from the clerics and embraces equality then Italy should have no financial support from any country.

This proposal will be of little more than symbolic value and will not be legally binding. 142 municipalities and cities throughout Italy have introduced this type of civil union registries. They are not recognised by Italian law.

  3. Good luck to him. I hope he makes nasty Mr Pope cry.

  4. Good luck to him if he is elected. He appears to be more forward thinking than a lot in Italian politics but he will have an up hill battle on his hands.
