Ah, but the resignation is being done by a man with eyes to reality. The policy is being dictated by those who only stand on ignorance and bigotry.

  2. I’d like to recommend that anyone who’s not happy with the policies of the BSA to check out the Baden-Powell Service Association. The BPSA is a member of the World Federation of Independent Scouts (WFIS) and is the only scouting association in the U.S. offering a traditional (“back to basics”) scouting program. Plus, our program is open to EVERYONE… youth and adults, girls and boys, men and women. We have open and inclusive membership policies that disallow any and all discrimination. Our “traditional” program keeps to the aims, methods, and teachings of scouting’s founder, Robert Baden-Powell, and offers progressive training in scoutcraft/outdoor skills and teaches service over self to ALL boys and girls, men and women. Our aim is to promote good citizenship, discipline, self-reliance, loyalty, and useful skills. To find out more, please visit our website at BPSA-US.org.
