*sigh*. So “Foaming Mad” Nadine is back in the party. Is this the sop to those thinking of moving to UKIP we’ve been expecting? “Look, we reinstated your leading Homophobe!!”

    1. If only she was just a homophobe. This is disturbing news for so many more reasons than that.

  2. Just what we need in Parliament – homophobic, publicity-seeking bigots. Says a lot about the Tory party that they would re-instate someone like this …..

Cameron should have nipped it in the bud long ago and confronted the bigots on the back bench. They are the ones dragging his party down with their right wing religious nut-baggery to oppose equal marriage. They’ll never shake the nasty label as long as the trouble-making hypocritical god-bothering bigots are allowed to agitate ad nauseum when they can’t get their way.

      1. It seems to be a tory tradition to self destruct. They are like ferrets in a sack whenever they gain office. . Of course the right wingers will be able to stay at the trough as most occupy safe seats and don’t give a fig about anyone else. I honestly believe this group feel more comfortable shouting and posturing from the opposition benches without the responsibility of government.

  3. I was hoping she would join the other loonies in the BNP – that is where she belongs.

  4. Obviously her “threat” to defect to UKIP worked. Those right-wingers live in a perpetual state of fear.

    “Gay equality critic”

    The word is “homophobe”
    Or just “bigot”

Stop soft-peddling anti-gay bigotry Pink News

  6. I’m pleased that Nadine is ‘Not’ in favor of Equal Marriage.

I would not want some Bigoted Bitch who ‘Fiddled Her Expenses’ on my side!

I do wish activists would spend more time dwelling on this tiresome harpie’s adultery to constantly remind her that she’s the consummate bigot and hypocrite.

That she she doesn’t know any gay couple in her constituency that supports equal marriage, either she doesn’t know any or is making it up or none bothered to to write to her to let her know the opposite was true. This is one of the reasons why so many Tories voted no claiming that nobody except for opponents bothered to voice their opinion, not that some wouldn’t have voted no regardless.

If she’s so opposed to it, I find it odd that she’s not defecting to UKIP taking all of the others with her. Thus far, not one has and it makes you wonder why not if it’s such a divisive issue for them as she claims it is, yet none resign. It just doesn’t add up.

  8. They have no majority, are in a coalition that their back-bench rent-a-gobs increasingly hate, and UKIP has put the wind right up them. They would reinstate Coco the bloody Clown to the party whip if they had to. Which is more or less what they have done.

So Nigel Farage makes reference to this half-witted individual being northern and working class as though those qualities make her suited to join his wicked troop on nincompoops. I too am northern (strictly north-eastern) and my background is as working class as can be. Luckily I’m privileged to be gay. Will you welcome me too Mr Farage? What do you mean: No!

    1. That There Other David 8 May 2013, 11:31pm

Meanwhile Nigel Farage is a privately educated son of a stockbroker from London.

Sort of reminds you of all those party leaders his party likes to slag off for their privileged backgrounds doesn’t it?

  10. Vile woman and an embarrassment to British politics.

  11. Nadine Dorries is homophobic, transphobic, sexist and, it appears, not very competant.

For example, I remember her appearance on Channel Five’s ‘The Wright Stuff’ when the panel were discussing Julie Burchill’s article being taken down by the Observer for being transphobic. Needless to say, the panel appeared either to be woefully misinformed – or worse still – deliberately economical with the truth. To give you some understanding of Dorries’ failure to research the news item she was commenting on, she went off on some pompous rant, raging that ‘Suzanne Moore’s'(!) article had been taken down. She obviously knew nothing about the subject she was commenting on.

Then there was the time she went grandstanding over the TUC allegedly wanting to ban women from wearing high heels in the workplace – claiming that this was a curtailment of women’s rights. However, what the TUC was actually trying to do was to stop women being forced to wear feet-damaging heels by employers!

    1. Might as well watch Big Brother for more informed opinions than the nauseating matt wright and his grotesque panel on the wright stuff.

  12. Not just a homophobe but an ex nurse hell bent on helping to destroy the NHS…..oh to be a right wing agitator life would be perfect then

  13. The tories are getting desperate now after ukip’s success last week. On another note, she needs to converse with some of her parliamentary colleagues, if she assumes that she has never met gay people who are pro marriage, who’s her best gay friend, the vile Christopher boggins , another anti marriage creep like herself.
