  1. Lies and nonsense from the modern iteration of the scum who sold bits of the cross to gullible simpletons. There is no such thing as a “gay cure”, nor is there any cause for one, it is an abject bloody lie peddled by those with agendas to those who are ignorant.

And we should protect children from them both.

If only there were a cure for stupidity! It used to be thought that education combatted or, at least, contained stupidity, but education seems to have no effect in the good old US of A.

  3. When will these people learn that there is nothing to ‘cure’ us from.

We are not sick and do not need their help.

  4. I’m fine with allowing ‘cure’ therapy to be available to those self-haters who think they need it … so long as religious ‘cure’ therapy is also OK. In my opinion, there would be no need for a ‘cure’ if religions didn’t continue to hate-monger. Religious brainwashing is far more subversive and damaging to society than any number of gay people ‘on the loose’. Get rid of religion – gay people would not self-hate. Thus – no ‘cure’ needed.

    1. Bear in mind that this ban only extends, I believe, to protecting minors from this snake-oil nonsense. If adults want to hand over a pile of money and mire themselves in self hatred, they will still be able to do so.

While they’re at it, they should advocate for the tying of left hands behind the back in schools so everyone becomes right-handed!

    1. And dying red or blonde hair to also fit in with the majority of brunettes!

  6. “you can’t fix stupid” – well known American saying!

Education does help with ignorance, but unfortunately fundamental religion also seems to not be compatable with the light of knowledge and enquiery.

Californian lawmakers last year passed the same law and this law is long overdue!

New Jersey is the only state in the top right hand corner not to currently have same sex marriage now, but still has domestic partnerships or civil unions…

Just like California having domestic partnerships…

The New Jersey Legislature back in 2012 and the California Legislature back in both 2005 and 2007 did pass legislation twice (by just a simple majority pass) on allowing same-sex marriage – but the Republican Governors’ always VETO the bills twice!!!!!

Time for an override on all vetoes!!!!!!

Both California and New Jersey seem to have the same laws hey?

Big fat ugly stupid and bigoted Republicans always get in the way of progress on marriage equality!
