  1. That’s encouraging news.
I’m not gay myself. But I do have LGBT friends. I’m also passionate about supporting equality, and fighting against dogmatism & inequality. I’ve felt this way since I was really young. It’s always confused me how some people believe they have the right to trample over other peoples basic rights, when it really has nothing to do with them.
Since when has ‘love’ become a bad thing?
How can any rational, sane minded individual living in the 21st century still be so ignorant?
    Well done to the USA.

Well said, Mike and thank you. I think the 70% figure is probably the same in most progressive western countries. That’s the one thing that opponents fail to grasp, much to their peril whether they agree with certain social issues or not. They have yet to see the larger picture and what it portends for them if they resist change, a problem among a lot of the Tory party. Eventually, they become irrelevant and are voted out of office and rightly so.

  2. I think has a lot to do with generation y and the ability to connect and share with the LGBT community through social media. Check out YAYA Connection’s article on how Facebook Profile Pictures made a large difference. goo.gl/xqxaS

I completely misread this. I was wondering why on earth 70% of millennialists would support equal marriage!

  4. This is why it will happen. The young generation is in favour of it and those against will be gone in another couple of decades. Which is why some of them are going crazy.

  5. This is very true and I am under 30 years old!

50 years from now we will not be questioned on our sexual orientation or sexuality or perhaps even labelled as gay!

Homosexuality will become so accepted well in western society – to the point that no one will notice or need to come out!
