He may be unpleasant but you could at least get his name right – it is Peter Davies, not Peter Jones. He also stood as an independent after leaving the English Democrats.

That said, good riddance to him.

Further proof, equal marriage had nothing to do with it if Labour booted him out.

  3. It was very close though, less than 650 votes between them. I really don’t know why people voted for him.

Here’s that interview where Peter Davies doesn’t know anything about anything, including Pride, then leaves after calling the interview biased: http://news.bbc.co.uk/local/sheffield/hi/tv_and_radio/newsid_8615000/8615404.stm. It’s kind of funny actually.

Even if only one vote beat him, he’s been beaten. I’m very happy with the outcome. Maybe those who voted for him might learn something from their own stupidity and ignorance. They backed a loser and they too became losers in more ways than one. It’s the loony party of delusional but very lazy thinkers.

    2. What a brilliant interview. Shame it didn’t happen before the original election. It could have saved Doncaster a lot of bother.

    Good. Stupid bastard. Goodbye.

  5. Bye now.

In Manchester Pride Queen 2009 my pre-queen stand for Doncaster Mayor against Peter Davies pulled over 2000 votes. This 2013 I urged supporters to vote Labour. Labour’s win was by just 600 votes and one can say Peter was brought down by a Pride Queen. Had be kept Doncaster pride funding it is likely I would not have called for him being chucked away. I am now asking Doncaster’s Labour new Mayor to put funding into Doncaster Pride – justly a full circle, showing the power of pink votes in the UK.
