  1. “the St Petersburg law equates homossexuality with paedophilia” The funny things about that is that statistic proved many years ago that paedophilia against boys and girls all together is done at 90% by heterosexual. So they should revise their statement. But we know that they prefer believe otherwise.

may all my LGBT brothers and sisters have a safe and joyous Pride Day

  3. С праздником 1 Мая!

    1. Curious how my traditional wish of a happy May 1st holiday to these people has generated (at the time of writing) 3 negative votes :)

      *shrugs*

      1. I guess some people do not know how to use Google translate!

        1. Yes, DMcCabe, plus we have to remember, from the other day, that we have a few deluded and small-minded UKIP supporters amongst our members here who react with considerable negatively to the use of any tongue other than their own.

  4. Good luck to all taking part, please keep safe!

Thank you, pinknews, for covering this event. Let’s hope that it will pass without incident. Please keep us updated. Russian gay people are being attacked ruthlessly by unprincipled politicians and legislators.

    1. Also “attacked ruthlessly” by fellow Russians, albeit they are the primitive, filthy variety.

  6. I knew a really stupid Russian, who was intent in trying to convince me that petersberg is a city of bohemia, creativity and culture LOL! any city that needs armed military from the city’s ugly, savage populace, to protect a cultural parade has no regard for culture or civilisation.

    1. I’m sure our Russian fellow-gays will find that a really helpful, useful comment.

      1. More so than yours definitely.

        1. How sad it would be if you actually believed that.

  7. Good luck to our LGBT friends over in Russia. Thinking of you.

  8. Brave, brave people. I hope it goes well for them today.

  9. After what the Russian authorities did with some of the members of Pussy Riot, I can only imagine it must take real guts to undertake these defiant parades in Russia. Well done, Russian friends!
