  1. The article says that Katie Amess “has produced a film in support of gay rights called Misérable Lesbians”, but then later on the article says that Amess is trying to raise funds to put “the show” on.

Is it a film or a show? Whether it’s one or the other, it seems clear it hasn’t been “produced” yet.

I hope, though, that she raises the necessary funds and does produce it, and that it does well, and causes Amess’s Daddy to do a U-turn.

How about a film depicting miserable Tories who voted no and really expose their nastiness and religious bigotry and for some, their hypocrisy, especially the adulterers in government?

  3. I remember that bell end David Amess from Brass Eye. Seems like he hasn’t got any brighter since then.

    Nice one Katie.

He has the right name, A-mess!

  5. What a cnut of a father!

  6. Even though she is straight herself. Wow. How brave of her to come out and tell us. Sic.
‘Some of re best friends are gay’ syndrome or am I being too touchy?!

    1. You’re being touchy, not to mention tediously so.

      1. No. Just have a long memory of this horrible man. She need not mention her sexual orientation. It smacks of tokenism on her part wrapped up in a privileged background.

      2. Not at all. I just have a long memory of this horrible man. She need not mention her sexual orientation. It smacks of tokenism on her part wrapped up in a privileged background.

  7. why so much cynicism? David Amess holds views on gay marriage consistent with his Catholic faith. His daughter sees things differently. She loves him; his is proud of her. A nice story I would have though!
