  1. Time to ditch the fairy-tales, and the people who use them to bully and control others, Mr Ford.

It’s a tough lesson, but thanks for your support. You have ours.

The christian taliban is trying to take over as many governments as they can get away with. What makes them any better than the muslin taliban??

You can be sure that none of the voters who wanted the alliance party to represent them realised that policy would be dictated by some god bothering bigots. As usual, when the church dosent get its way it resorts to bullying tactics. Religeous fairy tales have no place in politics. They should keep their twisted beleifs to themselves.

Do I read this correctly? His support will now be “investigated” by the church?

How about they “investigate” finding a way out of the 18th century instead?

    1. That’s on their agenda, right after getting the directions of “pulling head out of ass” completed first.

  5. Remember: these are the people who value freedom of belief and conscience so highly that they want the right to discriminate against us.

It’s freedom of conscience, you see. Just like the freedom of conscience they’re prepared to give Mr Ford. Oh.

  6. “Lord Alderdice has said that this is a difficult time for Ford, as his faith was of particular importance to him.”
Answer: Keep your faith – dump your church and find one that’s not full of homophobic bigots. Simples.

    Dear People of Northern Ireland,
Your religious leaders are holding you back in every conceivable way. From civil rights to employment to minority rights for gays and women. For goodness sake waken up and think what you want for the next generation. Others fought for you. Get these blighters out of any thinking persons life. selling you an afterlife better than today but taking your money. Thieves and robbers by another name.
    Waken up fellow citizens.
