This is an example where equality legislation has to be used to hammer George Becali.until he stops. Becali is a serial homophobe. The EU is the home of equaliy and Romania has signed up to treaty obligations about equality…….

This is an example where equality legislation has to be used by Romania against George Becali until he stops. Shame on Romania for allowing him to continue for so long!

  3. What a vile excuse for a human being!

  4. I guess this is one Romanian who Nigel Farage & UKIP would be welcoming with open arms if he were to pack his backs and come over to the UK. I hope he doesn’t.

Another backward society where the orthodox cult reigns supreme. I once knew a straight Romanian many years ago at the height of the AIDS crisis who told me there were no gay people in Romania.

That’s because it was still illegal to have gay sex in Romania until very recently, and even then they only repealed the anti-gay laws thanks to external pressure from the EU and the USA.

Romania is backwards to the extreme. They treat every minority there like dirt.

I feel sorry for Bulgarians being currently lumped in with the likes of Becali. There’s no comparison. The Bulgarians aren’t perfect by any stretch, but the Romanians are just downright hateful.

  7. Another neo-nazi orthodox christian.

  8. This man probably has a small penis.

He has, and by the look of the photo, it’s attached to his neck.

      1. Hahaha…yes indeed! Very funny.

  9. “Gays must be kept in enclosures”, he said?

And next year any Romanian who wishes to enter the UK and live here can do so?

Of course not all Romanians are of the same opinion, but, nevertheless, I reckon we’d all better watch out. The gay rights record of Romania is near zilch!

My partner and I would be wary of the attitude of any Romanians moving in beside us!

  10. Why the hell did we reward these backwards ex-soviet, ex-iron curtain nations with EU membership before they cleaned up their act.

Oh I know, economics. The EU does not care about anything else, this human rights stuff they claim to espouse is nothing. Just take a look at Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia, they have been in the EU longer and are virulently homophobic without consequences.

  11. “Some 27,725 Romanians were arrested for offences in London over the past five years, Scotland Yard said, including 10 for murder and more than 140 for rape.

The figures, published under the Freedom of Information Act, will fuel fears of a crime wave when restrictions on workers from Romania and Bulgaria are lifted in January next year.”

I think it very reasonable to assume that this vast number of Romanians who have been arrested are not progressive, well-educated, liberal Romanians who simply adore British gays and lesbians!
