  1. The Mormons, Catholics and Fundamentalist Christians own the Scouts. Until their outside sponsors start hitting them in the pocketbook nothing will change.

  2. It may be a private club but they are undermining their ability to attract new members when they act in such a hateful and discriminatory manner. The shameful part is all those young boys that could learn so much from a group of (thoughtful) leaders. I think that the scouts will be ended when all the families form a new club that isn’t so hateful.

    I was a GAY Boy Scout, and later a GAY Troop leader and my sexual preferences had nothing to do with the youth in my care.

    I was a Cub Scout and left before realizing I was gay. This is no change as they continue to discriminate unless something changes no deal!

    Horse designed by committee equals camel. I can only imagine the screaming and squirming that this negotiation featured.
