    Even for Americans, this state’s legislators are backward. Their social justice awareness is extremely flaccid! This is not a place to visit if one is LGBT, obviously. Horrid place!

  2. One point — the Supreme Court struck down sodomy laws in 2003, ten years ago.

    There are a number of states who have not formally repealed their sodomy laws, mostly, I think, just as a means to intimidate gays in those states.

    Another front in the ongoing fight.

    1. Oops — just registered on the text again — it was the Montana state supreme court that ruled it unconstitutional 16 years ago, correct.

      Some states in the US are a little behind the times — Mississippi just ratified the 13th Amendment, which abolished slavery. It only took them 148 years.
