  1. Another, evil Roman Catholic. Bring out the tumbrels and let the French return to the anti-clericalism of the Revolution!

  2. So 64% are catholic but only 4.5% practice.

    You could even say the same about gay people in the population, sounds about right. 64% are a bit gay but only 4.5% practice.

    Puts us on an equal footing with catholics then.

  3. … and the surprise is ….?

    He is not new Archbishop of Paris, but new head of Bishop conference and Catholic Church of France and Bishop of Marseilles.

    These celibates need to get over it. Equal marriage in France is a done deal. The Assembly vote is merely procedural.

    The imbeciles actually believe that they are still part of a parallel aristocracy. They live in a fantasy world and cannot cope with reality.

    Archbishop Georges Pontier IS NOT “the new Archbishop of Paris”. He IS STILL the Archbishop of Marseilles.

    Archbishop Georges Pontier is simply the new CHAIR OF THE FRENCH CONFERENCE OF CATHOLIC BISHOPS for the next 3 years;
    the current Archbishop of Paris, REMAINS Cardinal André Vingt-Trois, and he was the Chair of Catholic Bishops for the last 3 years.
