    Not sure how I think about this to be honest. Whilst gut feeling says he should be allowed to make a fool of himself in the name of free speech the country obviously has well-defined rules for politicians that he is unwilling to operate within.

    Yet the ban isn’t going to make him any less anti-gay and might even rile some up into one of those nutjob religious frenzies we’re seeing left, right and centre. Guaranteed it will be used as an example of how Teh Gheys™ are oppressing the Christians, and how it’s Nero all over again blah blah blah

      Of course, it would be a whole other story if someone started saying the same about so called ‘christians’. If anyone gets carte blanche it’s them. It’s only an agenda when gays fight for equality. They would never concede they have agenda would they?

    If the United States had electoral laws like Ecuador’s its elections would have to cancelled for lack of eligible candidates.
