  1. Basically greedy MPs want to take take take from the taxpayer and not give anything back whether its the money they owe or equal rights.

  2. hahaha, you wet politician. Welcome to politics!

Typical nasty, bullying homosexualists pushing their filthy agenda.

This is the Tory Chief Whip doing what Chief Whips do, keeping the Parliamentary party in line with the leadership. The only link to the equal marriage debate is being put there by a couple of MPs making the complaint.

But of course someone like you will blame us anyway. That’s the trouble with you sad loser types. You always have to blame someone when it doesn’t go your way.

      Boo hoo boo hoo eh?

      1. Spanner1960 8 Apr 2013, 2:05pm

Except in this matter it is a free “whipless” vote.
So the Tories are resorting to blackmail and dirty tactics to keep their people in line instead. The whole thing is despicable.

Do you have any proof that the supposed bullying was because of the equal marriage vote? The anti-equality people have shown they will lie and invent all sorts of nonsense to try and paint themselves as our victims for months. Therefore I’m 100% confident that they are the only people linking the strong-arm tactics to this particular issue, because they are so used to blaming LGBT people for all the wrongs of the world they don’t even realise they’re doing it.

    2. L O
      LOL L OLO

    3. Don’t feed the troll!

    4. It must be handy to be able to invoke religion to somehow justify and camouflage your true nature? I’m only an asshole because I love God you see.

      god loves all our souls.
god wants to touch our souls.
god is inside all our souls.

As I said aimed at the morons who cannot and will not think for themselves. They have to be told what to think, what to do, how to be nasty bile…. typical but also sad.

  4. Mumbo Jumbo 7 Apr 2013, 10:12pm

So there are even more bigots in the Conservative party than we thought and these bigots are thieving off the taxpayer whilst secretly craving to vote against the freedoms of their constituents.

Where does one start to describe such creatures?

  5. The SSM vote was a free vote, the MPs should be complying with IPSA, the MP doesn’t give his name, the link between IPSA , SSM and blackmail is vague….

In the end Young didn’t get much luck getting his MPs to vote for SSM, around a third of the Tory bigots didn’t vote for it..

I think he must have one of the toughest jobs in the UK dealing with those rebel Tories…’s clear that the party is one of the most divided parties in living memory and I can’t wait until 2015 to see the back of them…

    1. Colin (London) 8 Apr 2013, 12:54pm

Yes but they are the party that has introduced SSM and are supporting us. This is a major change in society so when you want to bite the hand that’s helping us to the table think twice and show some gratitude.

This is costing Mr Cameron dearly in many ways.

  6. So if I’m reading this correctly, these MPs got done for fiddling their expenses, and are now opposing equal marriage.

Can see them getting as huge amount of sympathy here frankly.

    1. dorset bob 8 Apr 2013, 9:03am

Quite right Jose. its amazing how they manage to link their being caught fiddling to their opposition to ssm. Shows how their twisted logic works. Thanks to the mail on sunday for portraying them somehow as the moral victims here. Wierd !

  7. So these thieving MPs want to take away from LGBT tax payers yet deny us equal rights?

We will not stand for it. I want equal marriage rights now!!

  8. I still remember, when blackmail was used as a weapon against gay politicians, so this is a step forward.

  9. Jock S. Trap 8 Apr 2013, 10:37am

“Speaking to the Mail on Sunday”… ah… that’s where the story falls flat. It’s clearly aimed at the moron who cannot/will not think for themselves.

This is another attempt by the bigoted in our society to rubbish equality by attacking their own who may have supported the bill. They not only happy to be seen as the hateful, discriminating bile they are but wish to tar all who don’t agree with them.

Another typical ploy of the ever increasing evils within religion.

Even if true these tactic aren’t anything new so why whinge now…. all it is, is negative bigots trying to point score. They will fail.

  10. Robert in S. Kensington 8 Apr 2013, 12:41pm

Preposterous! The majority of Tories voted against equal marriage in a “free” conscience vote. 127 for and 136 against plus some abstentions and one absence by the Secretary of Defence.

Leave it to the Mail to stir up trouble and spin it out of orbit. I recall Ann Widdecombe accusing some in the party of arm-twisting to get them to vote for equal marriage. I wonder if that has any connection to this latest over sensationalised revelation. What they won’t do to derail equal marriage is beyond the pale. All it will do is fire back on them, hopefully. Sir George is well within his rights to question any of them. They obviously didn’t like Sir Ian’s Kennedy’s response to their complaint. Well done, Sir George.

  11. Robert in S. Kensington 8 Apr 2013, 1:43pm

Some in the Lords I’ve no doubt are in the same boat. Some of them get up to as much as £30,000 in tax free expenses although they receive no salary. I wonder if Sir George has any dirt on them too?
