The Saturdays say they are not gay but “check women out more than men”.

In an interview with Jemm One radio, singer Una Healy says it because “women are hotter”.

Jemm One, a new internet-based pop and dance station launches on Wednesday at 7am.

Mollie King, Frankie Sandford, Rochelle Wiseman, Una Healy, and Vanessa White were quizzed by Jemm One’s breakfast show presenters, Neil Sexton and Debbie Ryan, formerly of GaydarRadio.

During the interview, Rochelle – who is expecting a baby with her JLS husband Marvin Hume – joked that if she was a lesbian she would have crossed the line for Debbie.

In an interview with the Advocate last month, The Saturdays spoke of their delight that the UK is heading nearer towards equal marriage, but Rochelle added: “we can’t believe it’s taken this long.”

The Saturdays were the first music stars to record a video for the Out4Marriage campaign in May of last year.
