Professional Christian’s pandering to the delusions of the ‘faithful’. Con artists who just never give up.

  2. Extreme sour grapes. Haven’t these Christian organisations got anything better to do with their time and money>

  3. If they will run those ads, I’m getting some red spray paint to cover NOT, EX, and POST…

Yes Alex, that would work for me.

  4. Hmmm…part of a ‘cover up’, eh? If only Christian groups devoted so much immediacy and zeal into investigating certain cover-ups within their own churches…

  5. Andrea Minichiello Williams also believes the world is only 4000 years old…
    Says it all really.

How can they even talk about truth when they want to run an advert that claims to ‘cure’ being gay ? Horrible dishonest people. What they are doing is promoting a lie for their propaganda purposes, ie they could ‘cure’ all those gay people but they just dont want it. Evil behaviour ,not very christian really .

Take a look at Andrew Williams twitter analysis:

    She appears obsessed with sex.

    1. That’s an amazing report, her top two priorities are sex and control. Says it all really.

  8. Antipodeans have a name for people like Andrea Minichiello Williams who court and deliberately set out to create sensationalist controversy,
    that name is “Shit-stirrer”

  9. Jock S. Trap 31 Mar 2013, 9:50am

    Of course they do.

They can’t accept they are behaving in a disgustingly homophobic manner and therefore will blame all others but themselves. It’s they way of bigoted religious.

What they are trying to promote is dangerous and sadly people like Peter Tatchell will fight their corner without thinking who the ads will affect.

It’s time Peter Tatchell thought about people esp the young and vulnerable for a change and viewed this from their eyes.

It cannot be acceptable that the young commit suicide over not being accepted in society and yet actions of Christian Legal Centre are free to promote such acts, that contribute to those suicides.

  10. It’s a shame we don’t have a legal group that we can instruct to sue them for slander and spreading dangerous lies.

  11. It’s a pity Stonewall don’t sue them for stealing the advert’s design… That should give them something to whine about.

    1. Stonewall has only just come to terms with equal marriage. It wasn’t long ago they stated that “civil partnerships are enough”.

Stonewall have been more or less silent through the equal marriage campaign – we have lacked the coordination the Christians had.

  12. Jock S. Trap 31 Mar 2013, 11:56am

    LOL – Absolutely laughable.

What planet do you live on exactly?

  13. And if they don’t find what they want to see, what will the Christian Legal Centre do then?

  14. More Ex-Gay tantrums . . .

    Yawn Yawn Yawn

    Get over it . . .

  15. The nutbag religious fundamentalists are determined to upset the most powerful people in the country, and indeed the vast majority of the population, who are liberal and highly suspicious of dogmatic religionists.

Let’s sit back and see how that all works out for them.

  16. The claim that you can make someone straight is one that would need very robust evidence. I say let the ads run, then just make a complaint to the ASA just so we can all enjoy what ‘facts’ they put forward to prove their rubbish. Then, when they fail to prove anything, the ads will be banned anyway and the CLC can then stop acting all butthurt that they’re not being treated fairly.

A bit rich coming from the harridan Minichiello saying Boris is opposed to doing truth and justice. What would she know about either if she supports the lies and hateful rhetoric throughout the equal marriage debate and has herself told some whoppers? Shame on her. She puts British justice to shame and should be disbarred, knowingly spreading erroneous, mendacious information affecting the lives of LGBT people. She’s no christian in my view.

  18. I have had the impression for years that the CLC are simply very desperate to chalk up any kind of victory. They have spent money like water and devoted countless hours defending the ‘rights’ of Christians to irrationally discriminate or ignore simple rules about jewellery in the workplace and in one case help a woman take out a private prosecution against a gallery over a ‘blasphemous’ little statue. They fail nearly every time and doubtless the frustration deeply festers, especially given that they believe an all-powerful, omnipresent God is in their corner.
For the record I think Stonewall could have put their money to better use but the two sets of posters are apples and oranges. The Ex-gay movement gets exposed again and again as a hotbed of scandal, snakeoil and money hungry fakes.

  19. If I were Boris my second word to the odious Williams would be “off”

We’ve all seen the huge sums of money wasted by the CLC in pursuit of malicious and vexatious claims, of which they fail.

I’d love to know who is funding CLC, CI, C4M, Christian Concern and Anglican Mainstream? They seem to have an un-endless supply of money and well organised and disciplined. Why isn’t there transparency about this under the freedom of information act? The public have a right to know. If the CoE is one of the sources, then that raises the issue of tax payers funding hate groups hiding behind religion which is what they really are though I’m sure they would take strong exception to that description. Spreading mendacious misinformation about one group of people in my view is tantanmount to fomenting intolernce, discrimination and hatred, unintended or not.

    1. FoI applies only to public bodies, not to organisations such as CLC, CI, C4M, Christian Concern and Anglican Mainstream. If they are charities then presumably they have to publish their accounts etc but I doubt whether they would have to disclose the names of their donors.

BTW, presumably you meant ‘an endless supply of money’? :-)

Been looking into their dealings. Christian concern for our nation and christian legal centre are both not for profit organisations with no charitable status. On their home page they ask for donations to an afilliated charity Faith Truth and Hope. Andrea Minchillo williams is listed as director of all 3 organisations. In their accounts for 2011 the faith hope and truth charity spent £189999 on charitable activities. they list two related partys ,christian concern for our nation received £186596 carried out on its behalf’ christian legal centre received £19999 for ‘an amount due to a related party’ Looks like a cosy set up to me. Answers some of the questions about where the money comes from.

Take one large bottle of crazy, add a box of crazy pills, mix with lots of Christian delusions and bake, and there you have it a perfect Keith, batshite crazy and loving it.

“The quest to homosexualize the world…”

Keith back again, with another of his bizarre fantasies.
