  1. I see the WBC has a new member.

  2. Beyond satire, really,

  3. Lynda Yilmaz 21 Mar 2013, 4:49pm

Are these idiots still worth discussing? Do people like him actually influence anyone who isn’t already part of the same mind set? I don’t think so.

    1. Unfortunately, a lot of people listen to morons like this, simply because they are to lazy to think for themselves and draw their own conclusions based on observation and personal investigation. It’s just easier to give in to peer pressure and the influence of someone who comes across as confident and charismatic… something sociopaths like Hagee are very good at doing. I’d like to think more people would actually make an effort to figure out their own opinions, but the more gadgets we develop the lazier people become.

I think it’s dangerous to think he doesn’t influence some when we know he does. They may be the most desperate of people but they are equally as dangerous. We as a community need to know about this not hide it.

  4. Get him into a lunatic asylum and make clear to his listeners that religious faith is a mental illness.

    1. :D

  5. If I didn’t know from first hand experience that people so deluded actually exist, I’d think that individuals like this were put out there by our side as a way of discrediting our opponents.

As it is we don’t need to bother.

Another white haired old coot proclaiming “Gods” intentions.

Perhaps if the stupid goon read his bib-bile and could understood how it came into being.

And that no two scholars can agree on the translations of the passages he claims to know so well.

The passages that he cites are only what he wishes them to be, not what they actually mean.

    Nothing more.

This is the same John Hagee who was to hold a rally at Birmingham Symphony Hall in August 2011 to preach hatred. I’m not sure if he ever made it to the UK, not much online about it but he should have been on the Home Office’s list of undesirables. He once said that the Holocaust was brought about to make Jews return to Israel. He’s a deluded, mental religious nutter of the worst kind and reaping millions of dollars in the process exploiting fear and scare-mongering people in regard to homosexuality. A total fraud.

  8. Christopher in Canada 21 Mar 2013, 5:28pm

Another sexless, pot-bellied has-been, if indeed he ever was.

  9. And his duff sanity is God’s real plan on how to look like a twit big time.

  10. Robert A. Cuthbertson, M.D. 21 Mar 2013, 5:40pm

You are so lost….you do not even know what the story is about….dude…when it was written there was NOT “homosexual” as a term….and your judgement will be when you finally die and free this world of your hatred and bigotry.

  11. The blinkered ignorance of these twits is really beyond belief.

We’re so scornful (and rightly so) of the ignorance of this specimen’s Islamic equivalents, yet how doubly shameful that here it’s coming from within a rich and supposedly advanced society, where there is (theoretically anyway) no bar to having access to scientific, historical and archaeological knowledge.

He seems to have an awful lot of insight into what “God” was thinking many thousands of years ago! And it, curiously, fits in with his own views! I’m SURE he’s not just making it up, though.
All the best, Pinnochio the Satirical.

    1. Ah, remember though that god talks to some of them, or that’s what the lead people to believe. Sometimes god tells them that people should increase their tithing.

  13. oh, i thought the great zzzzzz gawd smote sodom and gomorrah because they were wicked, haughty and greedy? i wonder if hagee’s rabbi trust is looking as healthy as it did 10 years ago when he owned a $2M ranch… and $1.2M salary?

    religion, it’s all about profit$! je$u$ is just a spanish boy’s name!

  14. Har Davids 21 Mar 2013, 9:58pm

God, omniscient and all-powerful, needs to do a pilot study on his own creation, homo sapiens, created in his own image?

And the religious expect to be taken seriously!

  15. If God’s all knowing, why would he need a pilot study?

  16. Reject Christ.

    Receive bacon.

I’m pretty sure that it wasn’t the butt secks that inspired G_d to destroy Sodom, I’m pretty sure it was their tendency to rape strangers who came to town. Remember when the men of the town were outside Lot’s house, shouting for him to send the strangers he was sheltering out, that they might “know them?” Well, we all know what “know them” means in the Biblical sense….

  18. Paul Essex/London 21 Mar 2013, 11:00pm

Sodom and Gommorah…that tired old chestnut that’s been warped out of it’s proper story. So a few things, if we’re really going to go there:
    1) Sodom and Gommorah was about greed and selfishness, not two cities consumed with homosexuality.
    2) In these societies at the time of these cities, male rape was used as a deterrent to invaders and outsiders. Phallic statues of the time in these areas have been excavated, they were placed around the city walls and at the gates as a warning to outsiders.
    3) The mob wanted to rape two angels in the form of men – isn’t the fact that this was about rape and the intended victims were angels (who in their natural state aren’t supposed have any specific gender) more important?
    4) This attempted rape happened in Sodom, there’s no mention of any such incident happening in the separate city of Gommorah, so why were both destroyed?

Yet again the homophobes become obsessed with the mention of bum fun – who’s got the bigger problem here?

” Hagee warned that the repeal of the Defence of Marriage Act would lead to polygamy.”

I agree that within 15-20 yrs. it will be legal in this country. I may not agree with much of the other things he says, but with this statement, I feel will happen.
Many previously accepted social behaviors have changed drastically, and I don’t see why this one isn’t following in due time.

  20. Does this so called “pastor” understand that the story of sodom and Gomorrah was about rape and prostitution?? No of course he doesn’t he tries as twists the story around to fit his agenda and demo nose gays and lesbians. Typical false preachers! :$

Read this and weep pastor man! http://www.webpages.uidaho.edu/ngier/sodom.htm

  21. ‘Pilot study’? This is a perfect example of how this so-called ‘holy book’, the Bible, was written by some men and interpreted by some other men over the years to judge his fellow men with prejudice and bigotry while using god as the authority. This fat ass has made millions doing just that!

  22. If God is all knowing and seeing why would God need to do a pilot study?

  23. Helge V. Tiller 22 Mar 2013, 8:28am

    THERE IS NO GOD.

  24. Errrm, yeah… see the thing about pilot schemes is if you instigate them and they’re not up to scratch these days it doesn’t give you carte blanche for a scorched earth policy and mass genocide.
Certainly not for attempting the world’s first gay village.
Can we put God on trial at the Hague? Judging by the Old Testament I think it’s long overdue…

  25. Jock S. Trap 22 Mar 2013, 10:29am

Put plainly in words I’m sure he and others like him would understand….

    What a load of crap!!

  26. A.K.A. Keith Ooooooooo’ Brien…!

And while I’m in rant mode.
How very charming and disarming of Bergoglio to be washing feet and having a second-hand gold plated silver ring…and then just hopping on a helicopter for lunch with Ratzinger; a 20 mile trip.
    What’s up with a taxi..?
    You couldn’t make it up.
    Keith
