  1. Tickle me Elmo!

  2. So far, I choose to refrain from any and all condemnation of Kevin Clash until an allegation has actually been proven. It’s hard to know how much – if any of it – is true.

As Paris Hilton would mumble; “that’s hawt”. A popper and drug fuelled f**k session with a hunky star of TV, who wouldn’t say yes to that!

    1. People with a brain.

    2. Completely agree! He’s a hottie, and generous!

    3. Bit of a difference between 26 and 46 though, isn’t there – or is it irrelevant, especially if there are drugs involved?

      1. Suddenly Last Bummer 21 Mar 2013, 7:15pm

Rehan bedtime for you, cocoa and The Archers awaits you.

        1. Very ageist of you, person-with-silly-pseudonym.

      2. Suddenly Last Bummer 21 Mar 2013, 7:37pm

        Very ageist of you Rehan.

        1. Calm down, dear – you know nothing of my own age, so try not to jump to shallow conclusions.

    4. Anyone having any truck with crystal meth is out of their mind (or will be very shortly). Stoopid, stoopid!

  4. Christopher 20 Mar 2013, 8:14pm

Jesus Christ…! It had to be a star of a children’s show. The won’t help the cause.

  5. This is a civil case.

Has Clash been charged with and found guilty of any crime?

If not then why is this being reported?

Surely this type of story belongs in the Daily Mail.

  6. I don’t know… Free booze and drugs, limo rides, chauffeur doing a bit of voyeurism… People are just ungrateful…

    1. Wow. There really is no bottom limit to vacuity, is there?

      1. Suddenly Last Bummer 21 Mar 2013, 7:19pm

WTF would you prefer Rehab? A treatise on how children’s tv shapes the sexuality of its viewers? Pfft. The masses have spoken and most of us would love to get ploughed by a black hunk whilst imbibing narcotics. You on the other hand are the unwanted set of keys at the swingers’ party.

    2. I know, right? Lucky duck

  7. The age of consent must be different in the US. Here in the UK it is 16, so Mr Stephens would not be considered to be underage.

Also, it appears from the article that he was a consenting partner at the time when he took poppers and had “sexual activity” with Kevin Clash. Clash’s lawyer points out that “Sheldon Stephens, the plaintiff, has already admitted in writing that he had ‘an adult consensual relationship’ with Mr Clash.

If he was under the age of consent under US laws, and if Clash was aware of his age, then he should be found guilty. However, this is an ongoing court case, so I probably shouldn’t try to guess a judgement.

    1. The age of consent laws vary by state in the USA, from 16 to 18. In NY state, the age of consent is 17, in neighbouring NJ state, it is 16.

Meaning that a house situated over a state border line, can have a bedroom, where a 16 year old can legally have sex with a 17 year old and can have another bedroom where it is illegal.

      1. That’s just one of the many quirky charms of American federalism. The legal age for viewing porn also varies from state to state – 18 in most, but 21 in a few. The legal age for *appearing* in porn, however, is set at 18 by the federal government. So there are places in the U.S. where you can technically appear in porn before you can watch it, which is pretty amusing.

  8. Misleading first paragraph PN. The ‘teenage boy’ is a 16 year old, who in this country is over the age of consent and can even marry if he wants.

    1. He’s still a teenage boy though – even in the UK the usual press policy is to refer to a male under 18 as a ‘boy’.

      1. I understand, although to me at least, using ‘teenage boy’ has certain connotations. I would have thought it better to use ’16 year old boy’

        1. It would have certainly been a more neutral way of reporting the matter, but then I suspect a great many people find (as I do) the thought of someone well into middle age hitting on a teenager – even a 19yo – deeply creepy.

      2. GingerlyColors 21 Mar 2013, 12:48pm

A teenager is anybody who is between their 13th and 20th birthdays.

  9. Sounds to me like the 16 year old is digging for gold. I knew what I was doing at 16. If he was claiming rape, it would be a different issue. But he isn’t, he just wants damages – money.

What did the he think was going to happen when he got to his destination in his chauffeur driven car – play dominos. Yeah right.

  10. When I clicked on this article I looked at that guy’s face and thought “I don’t remember him being in Coronation Street.” Then I looked at Elmo and thought “I don’t remember Elmo being in Coronation Street.”

Then I read the headline properly.

    1. Duh!

  11. LOL!! This is hilarious. I always knew Elmo was a meth orgy qween. I hope more stories about this guy comes to the surface. He sounds like a complete sexual deviant

  12. I watched the documetary about Kevin Clash (Being Elmo I think it was). It was very well done & he came across really well, basically worked toward his goal since he was 8. He is a divvy if he has risked all that for a sh*g.
