    They could rename themselves `The David and Jonathan Society`.

  3. Within the orthodox Jewish community there is the haredi ultra orthodox view and the modern orthodox view.

    The modern orthodox view does not compel conversion therapy, it is left up to a person’s choice and they are opposed to pressuring anyone that considers it harmful to do so.
    They also accept the idea of a homosexual orientation as not being one alien to the Torah.

    As they are withing the parameters of allowable controversy within orthodoxy, it is a travesty to destroy a family over what is really a matter of opinion and not the Torah itself.

    It’s time conversion therapy is made available to help people, gay or straight, shed their fear of non-existing gods. It could improve the lives of millions of people.
