Quite a classy brush off, considering the way he has behaved in the past. He does have something, though…

  2. Oh My God ! So sad that I’m his mother’s age because this young fellow troubles my dreams since many years. I do find him sooooo sexy

    1. so what if he is gay or bi?
I think we should all give him some space to be himself

  3. Don Harrison 18 Mar 2013, 12:04am

What a catch he would be!

  4. come on pinknews…you’re better than this

  5. It is ridiculous articles of nonsense like this that fuel such vile behaviour to the LGBT community. He made a comment that means very little in the grand scheme of things. We are supposed to be trying to break down the idea that if someone is gay it is a big deal. Not enforce it.

    1. I agree, giving further uncritical publicity to this sort of breathless drivel is one of the things that gives us gay men a bad name.

      1. Complete non-story, just a joshing little aside made by an attractive man with more room than the other royals to be a joker.

  6. the title of the article seems very poorly thought out…. makes it look a LOT more sensationalist than it is.

    1. Ye, making a news story of a friendly, matey joke and presenting it as if it was a serious declaration of intent is pretty poor form~

  7. That’s calling letting him down easy, I think. The headline is very misleading.

    1. Called*.

  8. Geez leave it out. If he said no thanks he’d be called homophobic, if he graciously accepts just to be polite then he’s on the turn. Gay guys hate it when people make jokes like backs against the walls lads as if we fancy all men but then we go and let ourselves down by looking for gay where there is non.

This isn’t news s why on earth are you even reporting it pinknews ???

    1. Spanner1960 18 Mar 2013, 7:05am

      Spot on.
Many on here think anybody that isn’t 100% with us must be against us.
The truth of the matter is, in a lot of cases people simply don’t give a toss either way.

      1. anybody that isn’t 100% with us must be against us
So youed except equilty, say on a 30/70 split our way.
For me and I hope many other like us its a 100 percent all the way or they can piss off.

  9. This isn’t newsworthy. Isn’t there something significant you could use this space for?

  10. Hot_Stefan 18 Mar 2013, 4:46am

Wouldn’t mind him giving me a ring either. He’s dreamy.

  11. It’s the orange poooobs…
    But ‘no’ ta….!
    Now the OTHER one……..

    1. Hodge Podge 18 Mar 2013, 7:40pm

You’ll NEVER see my orange pubes love

      1. Oh thank- you…
        For a minute there, I……

    2. Harry replied to an interviewer on TV “Yes, I do have ginger pubes!” I nearly fell off the sofa, and Buck House will have had a collective embolism at the admission by a Royal Prince that he has pubic hair, or even knows what that is…….

    3. I cannot BELIEVE I got 15 red thumbs…
      I am truly flattened.

“YOU SHOULD BE!” some would say,,,!

      Time for a song..

  12. What a daft story! Good for Prince Harry responding to a jokey question with a jokey answer, just as a good many hetero men his age would do these days. Being gay just isn’t an issue to most (sadly not all) twenty-somethings now and his response reflects that, he was being polite and humourous – this does not signify sexual interest!

  13. David J Lingard Jr 18 Mar 2013, 8:36am

Holy moly ya’ll i know it leave it alone….but for shits and giggles though i do find him very attractivethough him and his brother….i hope the girls remain faithful and feel lucky to have them….but you know what i still wish he would take my number though hehehe

  14. What a pathetic artcle.

  15. I’m moving to London.

    1. I’m moving out.

  16. I don’t see what the problem is – do you want everybody to be 100% gay or 100% straight? The real world isn’t like that, the political struggle in which we live is exceptionally polarised, you’re either absolutely gay or absolutely straight – it doesn’t actually hold water when you look at actual empirical data – there are a whole group of bisexuals in the middle of the sexuality scale.

The very fact he made a jokey comment indicating he wasn’t bothered if he went with a women or man recognises reality, that some people love people, not genders.

Most of us do say we are in a fixed state of only feeling sexually and romatically attracted to the same gender, or opposite gender, but lets recognise there are others who are less fixed. Nothing wrong with that, is there?

And yes, he is sexy, and he also comes across as a very real honest genuine person.

    1. Whatever!

    2. I admire the passion you have in discussing LGBT issues, I hope you grace the forum in the FB page of the first ever gay themed TV series in the Philippines. It has made history. It was exquisitely done, sensitive to the prevailing culture in the Philippines, and because of the production’s discretion, it has penetrated not only the pink crown but the mainstream tv viewers as well, it been labeled phenomenal and black horse in the race of TV shows for ratings. The Philippines being a predomintly catholic country, the Church has given their reaction through media. WE need peoeple like you to join the forums and highlight the beauty of the pink minds. See its FB page: My Husband’s Lover

  17. ffs this website has turned into heat magazine. It’s pathetic. And if you put any more adveerts on the page , there won’t be any room for rubbish like this.

  18. How delightful! At least THIS royal parasite does not appear to automatically loathe gay and lesbian people. At least THIS young blood did not feel it encumbent upon him to immediately “put up his jukes” and punch Mr. Ianniello in the face!

Let’s hope this brother, the future king, is of a similarly accepting outlook with regard to LGBTs.

    1. You put that better than I could. Some men would have been offended, he was entirely laid back and …. didn’t take offence.

As for other people talking about this place becoming like Heat Magazine – yes please, if it means more of this and little bit less of the twisted insane mad religious nutters from across the pond with their vicious venomous putrid bile. Let’s have a balance please. Too much reporting of hate and it gets people down, and then they don’t want to come here, because it’ll just be one downer story after another. Let’s have a little positivity ! :)

    2. Who are you calling a “parasite?” Have you spent as much time in uniform, and in combat, as Harry has? Have you worked to raise awareness of childhood HIV infection in Africa, as Harry has?

Or you were perhaps referring to his uncle Andrew, a combat veteran of the Falklands? Or his grandmother, among other things a veteran of the Women’s Auxiliary Army in WWII? Or his father, a lifelong campaigner for environmental issues? Or his aunt Anne, a former Olympic competitor? Yeah, they’re all real layabouts.

  19. Gay Activist Paul Mitchell 18 Mar 2013, 12:30pm

    I always liked Prince Harry,

He can date me anytime here in Australia!

I always wanted his “jewels” so to speak (the Nevada Las Vagas joke from last year) when he was naked and playing strip poker!!

He is a UK soldier, he is tough and manly!

    I like him…

    1. Paul, you’re coming across as just another bimbo Aussie slut. I’m sure you’re not that, so do be careful.

    2. would you like to see and help us raise our fight for equality in the Philippines? See the FB page for the first ever gay themed TV series in the Philippines which has become phenomenal and captured the attention of the straight crowd as well, running on mainstreamTV primetime, The church has expressed concern through media. WE need you to be part of the forums in it’s FB page : My Husband’s Lover

  20. Oh, good grief… talk about people reading too much into things. I have one gay friend, who is one of the sexiest men on the planet, who I have told the exact same thing. BUT, I’m disgustedly straight. Utterly, completely, totally straight. Just very secure in it. I suspect Harry is the same way. As to the video he made with the soldier…that’s not gay or straight, that’s just soldier …probably trying to shock and be shocking. I can recall debating with a fellow sailor on who gets to “break in” the “fresh meat” – scare the poor dumb kid half to death, so much the Chief had to give us a talking to.

SO, I’m not saying Harry is or isn’t gay/bi/straight, I don’t think it matters. I’m saying don’t read too much into these things people. There are plenty of perfectly straight people out there who are either secure enough or simply mature enough that they don’t just immediately go for the “gross out drama” when it on by a member of the same sex.

    1. No, love. You might be many things, but you’re definitely not straight.

    2. In other words, military men are secure enough in their sexuality not to say “Ugh, that’s gay” when someone touches them…just like Rugby players seem to have a tendency to get naked at any opportunity. Or is that my wishful thinking?
I remember seeing Middle Eastern men in Paris holding hands back in 1974. My mate explained that they had no problem with it, even if they are straight, it’s an expression of friendship.
Soldiers face death and danger together, they have to work 100% as a team, so “looking a bit gay” is not the issue it would be to a gang of London chavs. Working, sleeping and bathing together makes them brothers, not lovers!

  21. Banter of this sort is common among homofriendly straight guys. A friend of mine who was a real womanizer onced asked me for advice on maximising pleasure if he ever tried it with another guy!
    A non-story, really.

  22. That’s hilarious. That’s awesome. That’s Harry. No bullshit. No malice. No pretentiousness.

  23. GingerlyColors 18 Mar 2013, 2:55pm

We have got out-gay people in showbusiness, music, sport and politics, so I am surprised that we have not yet had a member of the Royal Family who is openly gay. It is generally accepted that Edward II was bisexual but Royals would have risked being sent to the Tower if they came out as gay.
The Queen Mother employed gay men as servants, notably ‘Backstairs’ Billy Tallon because they will not be hamstrung by wives and children, even before the 1967 decriminalisation of homosexuality. I will be surprised if we don’t get a gay Royal within the next couple of decades.

    1. Liam the God 18 Mar 2013, 3:22pm

Don’t forget William II (William Rufus) who was also said to be Gay, then there was James VI of Scotland/James I of England who was bisexual. King William of Orange was supposedly bisexual, too. He’s simply carrying on a noble family tradition. ;)

  24. Mebrithiel 18 Mar 2013, 2:56pm

This IS news. Whether we like it or not, there is a distinct embellished celebrity culture, of which the Royal Family is included. I think we get a lot worse than the human being that Harry clearly is. He made the approach seem so harmless – as if it was something anybody, gay, straight or otherwise, or of any gender could do.

I would personally love to share a few rounds in the pub with him! He has his head screwed on

    1. This isn’t Reddit.

  25. soapbubblequeen 18 Mar 2013, 5:57pm

I can just see the screaming Daily Mail headlines now! Actually if he dyed his hair, he might not be half bad!

    1. Gingers are HOT and I’d take him in a second if he wanted a dorky older guy LOL

  26. I think that artcle is newsworthy. It shows how relaxed and secure Harry is about his sexuality, so he makes a great rolemodel. That is a good way to react for a straight man if a gay man shows interest in him.

Noteworthy and classy. The article title is bad though.

  27. Sadly, this was a joke. Good on HRH for being so laid back and easy about it, though. Says a lot for the current generation of royals.

    1. Liam the God 18 Mar 2013, 7:58pm

He’d probably be in with a shot if we could elect a Non-Politically affiliated President in Britain.

  28. Does anyone else think that this could just be trying to make up for how he behaved in the past?

    1. And how would that be? Having smoked a little pot, like millions of other young (and millions more not so young) people? By horsing around at a private party in Vegas, like millions of other young people? By going to Africa to continue his mother’s fight against land mines and AIDS? By joining up and risking his life in Iraq and Afghanistan alongside his men (despite political and media pressure to abandon his unit and just be a pretend soldier)? Precisely what past behaviour do you think he needs to make up for?

  29. what a non-story, gay guy hits on a straight guy and gets rejected without beating his skull in.

    1. Liam the God 18 Mar 2013, 10:01pm

Given the high profile of the Hit Upon it’s significant, therefore it’s news. Would you prefer only news where “Straight Man Beats Gay Man To Death For Making A Pass At Him”? If so you’re more morbid than I am, and I make GOTHS depressed!

  30. Christopher Coleman 20 Mar 2013, 4:44am

Prince Harry has a light touch and a sense of humour. Be thankful.

  31. I’m confused. Lots of you comment that it isn’t News…yet you came here to read it…(in order to comment on it you have to read it) and then comment on it. Wee bit of gossip is ok guys…if you don’t like it…don’t read it! Simple (Cue the righteous onslaught..but but but but…..!)

  32. This is a bit of a non-story. I have spoken to him about it in the past and he is very comfortable with his own sexuality and not all concerned about others sexuality. Move on.

  33. Derek Williams 20 Mar 2013, 5:58pm

Big mistake to conflate tolerance and good will with closeted homosexuality, moreover this doesn’t give anyone permission to crack on to Harry.

It is homophobia that is more usually connected with closet homosexuality:

  34. I think he, and his brother, are so ugly. I think the only reason why the are considered attractive is because they are princes and the sons of princess diana. If he were any other lad, no one would care about him.

    1. Liam the God 21 Mar 2013, 4:21pm

As far as Billy is concerned, yup: Harry has a certain charm, though, over and above the fact that he’s fvcking LOADED! :)

    2. They’re not ugly…but they’re not exactly classically handsome either. But there again….I never thought their mother was the beauty many considered her to be.

  35. Sounds too good to be true…it’s probably just another PR stunt by the Queen’s press agent. The Royal family just want to be loved so that they can survive. I’m not anti-monarchy…I quite like some of them…and they make me laff, but we have to be realistic…they are not real and they know it…but they do great PR (William & Kate’s wedding, Jubilee celebrations, Queen jumping out of a ‘copter with that geezer from Skyfall)

  36. What an idiot. Who cares what he does with his love life? Why not try doing something meaningful for the gay community rather than making a joke about it?

  37. he can certainly experiment with me, anytime :)

  38. I don’t know where you got this story from but it is rubbish royals never make statements like this. If you wish to be thought as of credible you must print truthful things not the misguided wishful fantasies of some sad an lonely reporter who wants to make things like this up..

  39. floridahank 24 Jul 2013, 8:59pm

Sounds like there’s too much inbreeding in the Royal family — time to get some commoner’s blood involved before it’s too late and even more weird comments start coming out.

  40. he can experiment with me ;D

  41. Pavlos Prince of Greece 27 Jul 2013, 8:36pm

I guess, Prince Henry never was gay, never will be, and here its no such need – only important thing here is that all Royals will be so gay friendly as the son of Princess Diana. And thank you for the joke.

  42. Yes, please! :-)

  43. Mikki Johnson 30 Jul 2013, 9:31pm

Something else a cute comment being taken out of context a lot people would say if if I’m not gay I might be with women so what although it would be a dream to some guys dream somewhere get real if your going to repost report on something with merit
