  1. Oh Gawd, not her again. I thought dinosaurs were supposed to be extinct.

Do you want to meet gay woman? It’s the best place to try something new via —Lesbianmingles— Now start your Lesbian journey.

No!… I don’t want to meet a gay women (well maybe on a social level?)
        And no… I don’t want to start my lesbian journey… I a gay man!
Sorry… just had to get that out of my system…

        1. Joseph oz 8 Mar 2013, 5:17am

          I’m a gay man… meant to write…

  2. PantoHorse 6 Mar 2013, 6:53pm

Was waiting for this, if I’m honest. Widdlecome can’t help herself.

  3. Robert in S. Kensington 6 Mar 2013, 7:02pm

Yes, I was wondering where she was, Probably licking her wounds from the O’Brien debacle. What will she say if a Tory wins a future by-election before 2015? It sounds as if these opponents want the Tory government to lose in 2015 by not voting or defecting to the UKIP. Bring it on Ann,you’ll get more than you bargained for and your party will have the likes of you to blame, stupid woman.

  4. What, no comment on Cardinal O’Brien, Anne?…..He was another rabidly anti-gay Catholic…I wonder if your common obsession with homosexuality has an underlying cause in common too?…

    1. Robert in S. Kensington 6 Mar 2013, 7:56pm

Exactl! She’s the voice of a dying breed in the Tory party, bitter, twisted, sexually repressed. Get thee to a nunnery, Widders! Stupid old bat.

    2. Gosh, yes Mark – she could be a closet lesbian. I’ll have nightmares now.

  5. What a moron Widdicombe is.

A majority of Tories opposed equality.

So it could equally be argued that Tory Party bigotry lost the Eastleigh by-election for that vile party.

    1. Robert in S. Kensington 6 Mar 2013, 7:54pm

What she doesn’t reveal is that the Eastleigh constituency was more inclined towards a Liberal Democrat. The Tory candidate was very upfront about her opposition to equal marriage. I wouldn’t mind betting it was because of that she was resoundingly defeated, not to say she was an awfully unsuitable candidate anyway, a bit of a loose cannon. Of course, Widdecombe chooses to ignore facts.

      1. That There Other David 6 Mar 2013, 9:29pm

I know Eastleigh rather well, having lived there and still having family and friends there. I can say with 100% certainty that equal marriage didn’t even figure in the thoughts of the electorate. Not at all.

Ann is doing the usual Catholic thing and blaming the ills of the world on people she doesn’t like anyway. I really shouldn’t have to say this about a woman of her years, but she really does need to grow up.

        1. Robert in S. Kensington 6 Mar 2013, 10:29pm

Of course, David. The Liberal Democrat Mike Thornton (Liberal Democrat) 13,342 won comfortably. The previous seat was held by a Liberal Democrat too. Diane James (UKIP) 11,571. Maria Hutchings (Conservative) 10,559. Hutchings had no chance of winning and she was a very bad candidate with a personal agenda.

  6. Liam the God 6 Mar 2013, 7:41pm

That’s right, Ann: Nothing to do with the economy, or selling off the NHS, or marginalising the poor and disabled, or destroying the education system, or helping the rich get richer at the expense of the middle and working class, or the bankers bonus’ or any of the dumb and hateful things that the Tory party have said and done. It was all the fault of people wanting EQUAL MARRIAGE!
    All the best, Mental Michael.

  7. What an evil woman!

  8. How much did they pay her to open her big fat gob this time?

  9. The Tory Party needs to purge more people like her out of the Party if it wants to win elections and as for UKIP they’ll never get into power because they are more of a joke than the LibDems were a few years ago. To win Power nowadays you have to be agreeable to everyone. Look at what happened in north America with the Republicans/Tea Party, they lost big time.

Her religion will soon be dead.

  10. Has she polled Eastleigh voters to find out that they dislike gays so much that they vote in a lib-dem?

  11. norman brewstein 6 Mar 2013, 8:24pm

If the voters hate gays marrying so much, how come the Lib Dems won when they support gay marriage??

  12. FFS. Isn’t that crusty homophobic old h@g dead yet??!

  13. Marcwebbo3 6 Mar 2013, 8:37pm

So how does she work that out when a pro-gay marriage party won but an anti-gay marriage candidate for the Torys lost????…poor love must be so upset about the O’Brien scandal she cant think straight

  14. The coalition government introducing equal marriage cost the Conservatvies the Eastleigh by-election, according to old Widders.

Hmmm, let’s look at the facts – the Lib Dems, who are part of that same government won the seat despite being far more pro-equal marriage than the Conservatives.

Her logic doesn’t quite add here!

  15. Dumb bitch – they all had the same policy, did she think Lib Dems and Labour did not?

Unless the odious creature wants to defect to UKIP, seems more her speed

Oh? And Widdecombe? Still laughing about Cardinal Sin over here =)

  16. Lee Brown 6 Mar 2013, 8:57pm

Ms Widdecombe should try to explain why a party that supports gay marriage won the by-election,and why her favourite candidate, with a record of being strongly opposed to gay marriage, lost. But then logic never was this ex-politicians strong suite.

  17. Ah, Westboro Widdecome. There she is. I have been wondering when we would hear from her vile mouth again. She has been so silent during the implosion of the catholic church in Scotland.

  18. She is beginning to look like a rabid dog with each passing year.

  19. Obviously promoting her new film:The Dalek in Drag has Risen from the Grave.

  20. Christopher Hobe Morrison 6 Mar 2013, 9:52pm

Yes I too knew she would show up sooner or later. The lady that quit the CofE because they decided to allow women to become priests, and joined the Catholic Church instead. The church of child molesters who are fine with women as long as they are virgins or take a vow of celibacy.

    1. Robert in S. Kensington 6 Mar 2013, 10:32pm

If she ever had a self-induced orgasm, which I doubt, it would probably finish her off. Bitter old bitch!

      1. OMG Robert. Are you trying to give us nightmares? LOL.

        1. Robert in S. Kensington 7 Mar 2013, 1:30am

Wasn’t my intention, James (tongue in cheek), but I suspect the lack of physical intimacy with someone is what drives these religious addicts to extremes and irrational behaviour. Notice their obsession with sex, particularly of the gay variety as a target of their hatred, craving the very thing they want most. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s a deeply repressed lesbian.

  21. Yes Ann, people worry about little else. I pass distraught, anguished and sleep deprived people everyday who are traumatised by the possibility of marriage equality.

  22. This coming from the woman who voted against women’s rights.

  23. this old fag hag is alway around gay men and yet support nothing to do with equal rights for gay people

Didn’t hear you say anything about the Cardinal dear

  24. Katie kool-eyes 6 Mar 2013, 11:25pm

Oh look, another appalling opinion nobody ever asked for.

  25. only the candidate was anti-gay and she still got 3rd … with anti–gay UKIP getting second and a labour candidate (mostly gay friendly) LAST place.

  26. Oh shut the hell up Widdecombe and open your bloody eyes!!! Your parties defeat has damned all to do with same-sex marriage….It’s the crushing of peoples lives. Squeezing every bit of life out of the poor and helpless. It’s because you let the banks get away with crap and paid them for screwing up! It’s because you are squeezing the life out of our defense, hospitals, schools etc to try and make up for the crap left behind by the greedy banks….Tell me Wiiecombe when you’d like me to stop telling the truth!!!!

  27. Dave North 7 Mar 2013, 8:36am

Oh give it a rest you viporous old harridan.

I take it you missed the memo:

“Timothy 2:12: – But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.”

“Corinthians 14:34 The women are to keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but are to subject themselves, just as the Law also says.”

“Titus 2:5 to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored.”

Well you seem to have failed on ALL of these biblical edicts so how dare you bash us around the head with the usual misinterpreted Leviticus crap.

And if you are going to spout that “society has changed” and that is no longer relevant, then it can change for us.

Otherwise you would be a hypocrite.

  28. Get back under your bridge !!

  29. Jock S. Trap 7 Mar 2013, 11:37am

What crap…. if it was the case how come a party won it with Marriage Equality as party policy? The Only party to have it as policy I have to add.

There’s none so blind as bigots.

  30. What is it about closet cases and elderly virgins that feel they can pontificate on matters sexual?

  31. dorset bob 7 Mar 2013, 12:35pm

v surprised the old loon didnt manage to link in the Russian meteor to gay marriage. Obviously a sign from above ! Seriously though ,she is writing in The Daily Express so is preaching to the converted. Old bigots the lot of them.

  32. Oh dear. The self-hatred just OOZES from this old spinster who left the CofE because women were allowed to become vicars. The hypocricy is breathtaking. She stops other women having equlity while enjoying the priviledged life of a female MP … something she could never have achieved even 100 years ago.

  33. So the Conservative introduce equal marriage and no-one votes for them any more?

Sounds like a win-win to me.

  34. I think her logic is flawed. Instead of voting in a rabid homophobe. The people chose to vote in a supporter of equal marriage.
