The Transport for London LGBT Network hosted a gala event last week, which celebrated TfL as a diversity champion, and aimed to encourage fun and new friendships.

The London Transport Museum hosted the event on Thursday 28 February, which was attended by TfL employees, their partners and guests.

The gala celebrated the achievements of TfL, and a video was shown, from three staff members sharing their positive experiences of working at TfL.

Master of Ceremonies, Chris Fitchew, was supported by comedian Madge Hooks, and drag performer Velma Celli, as well as acrobatic performances by Cuban circus star Phillipe.

Guests attended from Stonewall and Community Pride, as well as Coaching Squared and Price Waterhouse Coopers.

Also last week, a court case in legal action against Boris Johnson began, as a christian group challenged his decision to now allow “ex-gay” adverts to appear on London busses.
