This is 1/4 in the House progress, but remember there are 2 more Committees (Appropriations and Constitutional Committees) it has the pass BEFORE SB11 (Civil Union Bill) goes to the whole House floor for a full vote!

If the bill gets amended in the House – SB11 then has to go back to the Colorado Senate for another stupid procedural vote!

People we are running out of time because the Colorado Legislature finishes in May 2013 – SO GET ON WITH PASSING SB11 TO THE GOVERNORS DESK PLEASE!

The Civil Union law or SB11 once signed by the Governor – becomes effective on midnight May 1, 2013!

Remember Republicans controlled the House by a one vote majority last year and ran the clock on the bill to a “kill Committee” – effectively lapsing the bill!

Lets hope Democrats DO NOT do the same thing!

And for those of you who say “I want CO to have gay marriage”!

There is a CO Constitutional Amendment banning same-sex marriage since 2006 – so civil unions are the next best thing!
