A shame to be a Canuck – in the land of electricity, universal healthcare, good roads and infrastructure, low crime, cheap gasoline, abundant natural resources and clean water. Examine how long it took “Great” Britain to climb back from WW II, how much global real estate it had to part with in order to pay back the States, how long it’s taking you to get Equal Marriage, and we’ll talk.
Canada is a wonderful place to live and the people here, for the most part, are easy to get along with so your comment makes no sense to me. Proud to be a Canuck. If you meant to use the word as an insult, you failed. Canadians wear the once derogatory label — Canuck — with pride. Oh dear. What a damaged person he seems to be.
He’s clearly mentally ill and probably has been for most of his life. He needs help rather than scorn. Sad that of all the things he’s chosen to lean on as his crutch is a particularly aggressive form of religion, but he won’t be the first to have made that choice.
I just hope he finds a way through it.
