I can understand people not wanting children to be exposed to the usually sexual jokes of a drag queen act – but that wasn’t on the bill. The performer said he would be performing child-friendly songs and reading stories. Let’s be honest, kiddies love big costumes and personalities – both of which you get in a drag queen.

As Wingby says, pantomine will be next on the list – and every kid in the UK has watched a panto! Poor US kids really don’t get to enjoy anything!
