It is so nice to read a positive news story.

A reader’s comment on another website that ran this story said something touching: “It gets better!”

  2. WOW. I’m a Beta. Beta calls itself the fraternity of firsts. Well … looks like somebody was faster! Good job Phi Alpha Tau!

  3. So beautiful. Real men, I have to say.

  4. My mom back in the 70′s was in the first female sorority ever in the states. Delta Gamma in Brooklyn New York City and they allowed Lesbian women to join without any problems, Its very cool to still hear unity and diversity in Frats.

    1. Off-topic, but – eh? There were sororities 100 years ago! In fact, having just looked it up, the first sororities were established in the 1860s.

  5. It’s just a pity we don’t have Greek sororities and fraternities here in my country, as far as I know, I would love to join a sorority that accepted transwomen.

This is truly a lovely story. A happy one for a change which is always welcome.

I does show that the younger hopefully will slow out number the bigoted in society making way for better community.
