He might be irritating, but his support for equal rights for gay people here and abroad (he’s the honorary president of the Kaleidoscope Trust) has been constant and is, I believe, sincere and disinterested, and therefore is very welcome.
John Bercow is an amazing gay rights champion. End of.

To be fair, it s far harder for bisexual married men to come out as bisexual for obvious reasons than for gay men to come out. And is it not right that someone should once in a while assume someone is gay when a lot of the time the world is assuming people straight who are not?

As for gay, straight, bisexual, gay promoting… people are people and who someone puts into bondage and spanks with a rubber flogger is nobody’s businesee (as long as both are over the age of consent).
