For some reason the story is now talking about Bermuda, not Jamaica.

Did Pink News go to press before checking its facts? Oops.

In other news. Take a look at the new David Bowie music video for lashings of fabulous androgyny.

  5. Can you please check the inaccuracies in the above story:
Here’s a more correct state of current affairs-

And here’s a better written article:

The mentioned Equalities Act was a brief proposal by the previous government in an attempt to balance the debate, it was quickly abandoned.

Bermuda gays currently do not care about marriage equality, as with the majority of straight Bermudans – they only care about keeping there money in Bermuda and keeping it as a tax haven!

Here is an very important issue priority for gay males and lesbians on the island of Bermuda is both a lack of anti-dicrimination or hate crime laws!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also the age of consent is still 18 for gay men – while for lesbians and heterosexuals it is 16!

    DISCRIMINATION INDEED

Start by introducing a bill to the Criminal Code by fixing this age of consent law to make it equal for everyone!

The UK sorted this age of consent issue out way back in 2001!

  7. Three LGBT rights Bills need to pass in Bermuda

1 – Age of consent Equality for all
2 – Hate crime laws that include “sexual orientation”
3 – Human Rights Act needs to add the words “sexual orientation”
