  1. Great idea, watch how quickly they move if they think that might happen.

    Good.

No organisation should be so discriminating esp towards children,. It is just not acceptable. If the consequences are that they no longer tax exempt then so be it.

Like Avalon says though I expect them to act quickly and it won’t be long before they deny they we so homophobic at all.

  3. First, the boy scouts. Next, the churches. Sounds like a plan to me.

Wait and watch for the right wing religious nutters exploit it playing the abuse of religious freedom card. Another one they’ll chalk up to the ‘gay agenda’ they think exists.

Now on to the removal of tax-exempt status of all religious cults meddling in the political process and affairs of state. The Roman cult should be the first to lose it.

  6. This should be extended to all organisations and charities, such as churches!

If it requires a 2/3 majority, the proposal will probably get shot down, but the BSA will certainly get the message.

  8. This is an excellent ploy. Nothing focusses the mind better than being hit where it hurts – in the pocket.
