  1. You asked her if she was married, she said no – because under russian law she isn’t married … whats the problem russia? your pissed off that she told you the truth?

  2. It is kind of done deal now… they can’t take the child back.

  3. What does Yegor think of the situation?

If Russia wants to argue about what it thinks are the child’s best interests, then a little input from the child wouldn’t to too much to ask.

    1. We’re talking about Russia.. not the sort of place where the government even CARES what its citizens think. Besides, the child is no longer a Russian citizen, I presume. (we don’t know how old this child is.. to become an American citizen you must renounce any other citizenship)

Pathetic to the extreme. The child is adopted and living in America with his two mothers. What are the Russians actually going to do? Invade the USA to snatch him back?

The sad thing is that Russians actually think this is their country being strong. Instead it makes them look like the ridiculous peasants with 19th century attitudes they seem to be turning into.

How horrible for that lesbian couple to take that unwanted Russian lad and turn him into a loved wanted American lad. Shame on them!

  6. UCLA shall represent the mother and the child now as it represent Ku Klux Klan.

This really does take the biscuit, doesn’t it? The government of the Russian Federation no longer acknowledges any rights of LGBT people, let alone the existence of same-sex marriage. Why on earth can’t Konstatin Dolgov realise the absurdity of his whining about an entity (lesbian marriage), whose existence his government does not even recognise?
