The outrage is because they’re not related to each other by blood: “GADDAMMIT! Sumwun naaht marryin’ thar own SISTER? That’s disgustin’!”
Flame away: I do love reading them :)

Of all the things that have taken place in this repulsive excuse for a state a lesbian wedding and an article about it in the paper are really far down on the list. You could ask Nina Simone for some examples but unfortunately she is dead.

15 subscription cancellations, not much to worry about. WIth all our faults in the UK, I’m glad I live here and not there and we think we have it bad with that C4M hate group.

His comment about the other stories they run remind me of that tweet by Jamie Reed MP

Sorry to link, but it seems the Laurel Leader-Call has been getting a lot of support, too! :)

Oh yeah Liam, excellent link. Here’s the blog which helped it go viral.

  7. As the paper’s owner says, it’s so telling that subscriptions are cancelled when there’s a front page of a wedding, whereas reporting of vicious crimes result in no such action .

Good to see the priorities of God-fearin’ folks so clearly highlighted.

  8. Religion seems to produce an awful lot of bitter and twisted people who spend their lives trying to be as hateful and vindictive as they possibly can. Once humanity wakes up, hopefully these fundamentalists will be classified as psychopaths because they fit the criteria of being highly antisocial, aggressive and lacking in empathy.

Well done to this paper for having the guts to stick to it’s guns (Unfortunate phrase to use for the US, sorry).

This is yet more evidence that the religious are the problems of this world. It seems the extremists just know how to hate and discriminate and not much else.

Now tell me how is that good and peaceful as they’d have us believe?

Shameful that such humans have such limited IQ’s.

On a brighter note, the literacy rates in the State of Mississippi have been rising.
