If you have a Freesat or Sky box and ever watch the Russia Today “news” channel it gives an insight into just how much propaganda Russians are fed on a daily basis. Some of it is so utterly blatant I’m amazed anyone falls for it, but yet they do.

As for the Russian Foreign Ministry? That child has been adopted and is now an American. He’s no longer your concern, so suck it up.

  3. Honestly I been paying much attention to Russia lately about may different things that worry me. First they said Americans can’t adopt any children does not even matter if its straight or gay parents or an individual who want to adopt. NO AMERICANS ALLOWED. Which is a joke since’s Americans adopt more children then any other country, dont believe check that facts. Plus Im adopted by an American family. So then Russia says it wont Allow british or french people to adopt any kids if they pass gay marriage, OK then they want to pass a anti gay propaganda law, which i cant even begin to explain how fucked up that is. Its not specific the law. so in a sense a guy wearing a pink shirt is gay propaganda , A guy putting his arm around a male friend is gay propaganda a women with a really short hair cut is gay propaganda. Its so open to the idea of hate its going to make everyone even straight people feel confined to need to become straight stereotypes. Something really wrong within Russia.

Actually, Russia prevented adoption by American same-sex couples last year or two years ago (when Russia and the US signed a new adoption treaty). But not many in the mass media covered that side of the treaty. (Aside from a couple or Russian English-language papers.)

  4. Apparently Russia is no longer interested in entering the EU. At a time when Germany has just strengthened its laws permitting LGBTs to adopt, Russia is adopting policies that viciously single out LGBTs as a legitimate focus of discrimination. Is the ugly, poisonous influence of the Russian Orthodox Church responsible?

    1. Russia was never interested in entering the EU. Where are you getting your information? (maybe you mean Ukraine) Russia is actually the opposite. They are doing everything possible to get further and further from Europe and the “western values ” is more often used in a derogatory context.
