Being Republican’s we have a streak of phoney running right thorugh the center of us. We love to be a shower of fuckwits but hate being seen for what we actually are, so we do something that comes so naturally to us, we lie.
Someone should have asked the Representative whether or not he considers his own marriage to have affected his “ability to make money” and whether his marriage had a positive, negative or neutral effect on his “opportunity to have a great future”.
And make SURE his wife is sitting nearby when he answers the questions.

They only apologized because they were caught out at it. Othewise, not a word of apology would have been forthcoming.

Hardly surprising. Homophobia generally involves the idea that our lives and relationships are not serious and have no value. They were just caught revealing that attitude.
