    Seriously, you are focusing too much on every little bit of news out of every single county in the US. I am sure there are much larger pieces of news on LGBT rights world-wide.

      seriously, this is an important issue. Blocking these information sites at the education level instills people with even more prejudice, and animus. More impetus to discriminate. It gives the message that we are still disordered.

        Yes, I agree that the issue – taken as such – is important, but reporting county-level issues in the US is pushing it a bit too far. I am pretty sure there are at least 20 more important LGBT issues that did not get covered on this day.

It might be more helpful if the story included links or at least a short paragraph on the incidence of this kind of filtering nationwide — trust me, it’s not limited to Arizona, and it seems to be a particular company that’s involved — which is also the company that provides filtering software to the U.S. Armed Forces.

          While the focus of this story may be a little narrow, it’s only the tip of the iceberg.
