The London Sex Survey has been released by Time Out London, and almost a quarter of men said they’d had, or would have a same-sex sexual encounter, and more than half of women said the same.

According to the survey, 60% of female respondents said they had had, or would have a same-sex sexual experience, and  23% of men said the same.

In terms of geographical location, in the London borough of Havering, 50% of respondents said they’d had a same-sex experience, as well as having the most one night stands, as 57% of people said they’d had sex with someone the day they met them.

Havering also did well in that it had the highest average number of times per month people were having sex, at 10.2, and were apparently having the best sex, as 31% of people said they were “orgasmically happy” with their sex-lives.

Sutton was the borough with people having the safest sex, with 61% saying their sex was “very safe”, and with an average of 5.5 times in the week of the survey, respondents from Croydon masturbated the most.

95% of people in Bexley said they watched porn, and 76% of people said they thought they were better than average at sex.

Finally, another reason for marriage equality is that, according to the survey, “married couples have five times more sex than the young, free and single.”

The full survey is available here.

A survey of gay and bisexual men commissioned in the US, and released in January, showed that almost half report having unprotected sex at some point.
