A politician publicly admitting he was wrong???? certainly not something likely to happen over here. Then again, honesty never was nor ever will be a requirement nor an expectation of any holder of a public office. Best job in the land : vote your own salary, give yourself and your mates immunity from prosecution, lie through your teeth and never face the consequences, claim expenses for frivolous pursuits and laugh at the prospect of it coming to light…because you know you are above the law… BEST job possible :-)

Can we have him over here? We could give him David Burrowes or Henry Smith’s seat.
Good that he has the courage and honesty to admit he was wrong.

Good man. I had no idea of hte power of the word “evolving” when Obama said his ideas on Marriage equality were evolving about 1.5 years ago.
Even in NZ they have quoted Obama re the bill which has passed its first reading in Parliament to give = marriage
BTW I’ve only been to Atlanta once about 20 years ago. Its a very very heavily black city.
In MD USA Prince Geoges county with about 2/3 african Americans – the anti marriage ballot measure won by only 1 %
Overall it lost in MD which re-affirmed marriage equality by 2%. Same % in ME and WA state. FYI
